Moderation is key when it comes to exfoliating, which is why those harsh scrubs aren’t doing your skin any favors. Luckily, this hip Parisian brand’s ultra-gentle cleanser crossed the ocean just in time to rescue dull complexions without stripping skin. A host of natural ingredients, including finely ground apricot seeds, work to lift away dead cells and impurities.
It smells nice and it did clean my skin, but I wouldn't say it really exfoliates.2
This sample is honestly way too small to come to an opinion on the product. I try not to complain about sample sizes because I understand that Birchbox is just that- a sample subscription service. However, I think that the point of these boxes is to figure out if you would enjoy the product and purchase it, which I cannot accomplish with this sample. The small bottle/package itself is very small and on top of that, the bottle was not even full. I used this once last night and barely have enough left for one more use. As for the product, it feels nice and left my skin feeling smooth. My face did feel a little dry afterwards but that is nothing a moisturizer cannot fix.3
It needs "something" to put it over the edge for me. Maybe exfoliating crystals that change from one color to another as I scrub my face?3
The sample wasn't enough to give me a sure opinion on if i would buy again or not3
too small of a sample to get a good idea of how I like it, only got 1 use out of it!3
I like this product but love the exfoliating cleanser I use now (Pangea)4
I wanted to like this because the smell is great and it uses natural ingrediants, but I didn't feel like my skin was very "clean" after using this. It felt like there was a layer of residue left on my skin.2
The smell of the product was great but I think the sample size was too small to make a valid opinion on the product.3
I really like an exfoliating scrubs, they all work very well with my skin . So I may need to get this one one pretty good5
This feels slightly greasy after rinsing off. I have used other exfoliators in the past that give the same feeling (some from Lush), and I understand that it is the moisturizing oils, but it just doesn't feel good. Having recently sampled Dermalogica's daily microfoliant (and bought a full size), that is my holy grail, and this just doesn't compare. But for people who like the slightly greasy feel, this is a fine product--the smell is very nice.2
