I'm a huge fan of serums and decided I wanted a nice retinol one that was gentle but nourishing. My face has always reacted well to them and they make a difference in my overall complexion.
The instructions say this would make a great makeup primer and it definitely has that silicone-y consistency that leave a smooth finish, personally it's not my favorite finish as it always feels powdery to me but I can see it. I know retinols don't do well with sun exposure though and although the product says its fine as long as you're good with sunscreen, I'd rather not bother with the possibility.
I use it at night 3x a week, opposite of my exfoliating days. I tone, add a drop of this and finish off with my moisturizing oil afterwards. That silicone-y feel makes it glide all over really easily so it's not hard to apply. I wake up glowing lol.
It's definitely on the weaker end of OTC versions % wise but a nice try, I think I'll branch out and try others due to the price. I say it's a good intro product and complements my skin routine well.
