If the skincare world had a gifted program, this vitamin C face treatment from Paula’s Choice would be a shoo-in. The light-as-water formula visibly brightens skin in a matter of weeks, fading dark spots and wrinkles caused by everything from acne to sun exposure. Not only that, but it promotes plumper, younger-looking skin with a blend of smoothing antioxidants and collagen boosters. If acne is still a nuisance for you, fear not—the fast-drying liquid is ideal for all skin types and won’t clog your pores.
I was a little hesitant at first to try this product. I have sensitive, acne prone skin. The last thing I need is to add an oil to my face. I've tried a Vitamin C treatments in the past and one in particular worked great for me, until I broke out. I decided to try again after reading the reviews and this treatment is so light and absorbs immediately. No greasy feel and it didn't irritate my skin at all. My complexion looks great! I love it.5
So long story short, I started to notice either a freckle/birthmark/age spot fading, but then spring hit and I can't stay inside so it's coming back, but not as bad. I would like to see this fade more again. I am always on the lookout for something to fade my freckles (38 and still covered in them). But I love the way this feels, compared to some other age spot fading treatments it does not smell horrid. Another easy layer for me to add without extra weight (I mean come one after all the other serums, moisturizers, foundation, creams, I don't need more heavy weight on my skin)4
I purchased the C15 super booster from the Soho store after using the Vitamin C Spot treatment in my April box. I add 3 drops to my daily moisturizer (I don't think it goes on as evenly alone) day and night. It absorbs quickly and I don't feel my face getting greasy throughout the day. I haven't had any issues with breakouts and I feel like my skin is getting more even and brighter. I'm happy with the purchase! It does have an odd (not super pleasant) smell, which I don't notice as much when I add it into my other moisturizer.4
I wanted to like it, but smells weird and it was oily1
Wanted to love this but I can't get beyond the rubber smell1
This product didn't do much at all for my skin, and the smell was terrible. It smelled so strong I could not stand using it.1
I really wanted to believe in it, but I honestly didn't notice a difference with this product-- bummer! I would have liked to believe...3
I really wanted to like Paula’s Choice RESIST C15 Super Booster and gave it an honest try several days, but I kept smelling something that smelled like rubber all day long and then finally realized it was the product! Ugh. I'm sure it's just how my crazy body chemistry mixes with ingredients, but even when I tried it far away from my nose, I could smell it. Not for me!2
There's nothing super fancy about this product but it works very well. It didn't make my skin oily and I noticed a subtle difference in my skin. I think to see the fully effect you would have to use the full-size product.4
I am definitely purchasing the full size of this product. I mixed it with a serum i use at night and just after a few days I could really see the difference in the brightness of my skin. I am interested in trying many other products from this line5
