If the skincare world had a gifted program, this vitamin C face treatment from Paula’s Choice would be a shoo-in. The light-as-water formula visibly brightens skin in a matter of weeks, fading dark spots and wrinkles caused by everything from acne to sun exposure. Not only that, but it promotes plumper, younger-looking skin with a blend of smoothing antioxidants and collagen boosters. If acne is still a nuisance for you, fear not—the fast-drying liquid is ideal for all skin types and won’t clog your pores.
Horrible! Smells like fish. But I still decided to try it. It made my skin to itch1
I was a little skeptical after reading a few other reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. It does have a slight fragrance (a little unusual), but it makes my skin very soft.5
At first glance, this has a cute sample appeal. As soon as I opened the lid an smelled it, I was disgusted! It almost pained me to put this stuff on my face to give it a try. After several days, I did not really notice any difference in my face. If anything, my co-workers noticed my "rosy cheeks", which scared me to think that this product is making my rosacea worse!
If you are at all sensitive to smells, I would highly avoid this product!
I don't want to give this product a bad review, but I think the sample size is too small to see results.4
I liked this and thought it may have been working, but when I wanted to really test it, I ran out of the sample. Seemed like it would work, but too expensive to keep trying it out.4
Makes my skin so much clearer! I feel so lucky to have received this in the birchbox.5
I really liked this product and I think if I used it long enough my sun spots would actually vanish as I can see some lightening already.
Although, I have a serum I use, that I thought I was happy with, as I write I am debating on switching.
If I cannot have the skin I had at 19, could I , at least, have the porcelain complexion? Who knows: Anything is possible- right?
"Skin brightening" is just one of those made-up ideas to sell cosmetics, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that there are no visible results of using this product. Maybe it's nourishing in some way but I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and don't really see any changes in my skin, good or bad.2
I love this but I wish it came with more. Not enough to see full results.5
Didn't really care for the scent, but didn't find the scent offensive either. Didn't notice any real difference in the feel of my skin after using it.3
