Sometimes we wish we could go back in time and warn our younger selves about roasting in the sun (or worse, spending time in a tanning bed). While we’re no Marty McFly, we can still work to repair skin from past discretions, as well as shield it from future sun damage. This lightweight moisturizer from Paula’s Choice does just that: It reduces the appearance of fine lines and discoloration, repairs and firms, and protects against harmful UVA/UVB rays. Your future self can expect a beautiful, youthful glow.
After reading mixed reviews on this sunscreen, I decided to take a chance and order it anyways. I've had nothing but good experiences with Paula's Choice products in the past, so I figured why not? I'm so glad that I did! This is the ONLY facial sunscreen that I can wear daily! I would def say it's for people with an OILY SKIN TYPE! I have pretty oily skin, and most SPFs make my face 100000x oilier, well not this one! It's super mattifying yet not at all drying for me! Also, the tint wasn't a problem for me at all. I'm fair skinned, and the tint kind of looks like my foundation tone, so maybe that's why. But I'll use it under makeup on my face, and also use it on my neck and it completely soaks in and no streaks or anything. Added bonus: very light scent, if any. So you're not left with that annoying sunscreen smell all day.
If you're on the fence about this sunscreen: if you're like me and have oily skin and most sunscreens make the oil slick worse, try this out! What have you got to lose?
10/10, love this product and love Paula's Choice!
I use this in the summer when its more humid out. My face tends to sweat easily and this leaves a nice matte finish without being over drying. There is another product similar to this that is for dry skin that I'm currently using since it is winter and my skin is much dryer. Love both products!5
I've been a faithful Paula's Choice skincare customer for several years. I bought this last summer in preparation for the hot and humid weather, therefore more oily skin. I was quite disappointed with this sunscreen - my skin felt tight and very dry after application. I tried applying over a moisturizer but I still didn't like the feeling of dry, taut skin. Thank goodness for the money back guarantee that Paula's Choice offers. No matter what your skin type, other than very dry, I highly recommend Paula's Choice liquid sunscreen for oily/combination skin (in the white tube with aqua blue/green writing) I think it's called "Hydralight." That stuff is wonderful!!2
This is the best moisturizer! It's light but still moisturizing, no greasy feeling at all. It protects from the sun. What more can you ask for ?5
I can wear this daily and I have pretty oily skin and this did not make my skin oily at all. I love the tint , I'm fair skinned, and the tint matched my skin tone very well under my makeup. Andddd I loved the smell!!!5
This is super-light sunblock, and definitely matte. There is absolutely no sunblock smell and although it's tinted, it doesn't show up at all or effect the tone of my skin. It's so light it almost feels like water. It's the complete opposite of any mineral sunblock I've used. No horrendous smell or greasy white face. It also works really well under makeup.4
I really like the Paula's line for affordability and effectiveness. I was looking for a moisturizer with SPF with wrinkle cream combined, and for the price you literally can't beat it!5
I bought this for the mineral sunscreen and wrinkle repair combo. I live in a sunny climate and need SPF whenever I leave the house. This has a slight sunscreen smell and is runnier than I expected, but that means it blends easily and you only need a bit to cover your whole face. I use with a matte BB cream, but like that the product's tint means I can use alone for days when I go jogging outside. Dries with a slight matte finish.5
I didn't like this that much at first. It IS a sunscreen, so I think that is why it doesn't feel all that moisturizing and it makes me look a little ashen. I doubt this would work for darker skin tones. I have medium-light olive skin and I feel that I need to add blush and other makeup after I put this on. It helps to put other moisturizer on before this. I do like it after figuring out the best way to use it, and I love Paula's choice products.4
Love this product! It is an SPF 30, which is a daily requirement for my skincare. It is a lotion texture, maybe a bit thinner, spreads evenly and sinks right in. What I love about this product is that it leaves a matte finish... my tinted moisturizer or foundation applies like a dream over this product. I also believe it helps foundation wear longer. I love quite a few of Mrs Paula Begoun's products and this is no exception.5
