Known as the tough guy of the flower world, the clary sage plant manages to survive in the harsh climates of the Mediterranean because it can trap and retain moisture like no other. Naturally, this makes it an incredibly effective key ingredient for Burt’s Bees® Intense Hydration Day Lotion with Clary Sage. This natural facial moisturizer—part of the five-step Burt’s Bees® Intense Hydration line (and our latest Birchbox Find)—harnesses the tenacious little plant to keep skin flake-free, soft, and supple. Bonus: It also reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for a youthful, healthy glow.
I did not love this product. I found it too thick and oily for my skin type2
Great product and would use it again! Like the smell and it kept my skin moist and relieved my dry skin! Would definitely recommend this product!5
This stuff is pretty good. I haven't used up the sample yet but I won't be purchasing the full size on account of how many creams and lotions I have already!4
Nothing to brag about, I guess. It's okay. Made my skin greasy.3
I wasn't sure about this at first, but it is WONDERFUL! Burts did great again with a great soothing scent and of course it is super moisturizing and I didn't have to keep reusing this like some other lotions that claim to lock-in moisture! And best of all it didn't bother my sensitive skin!5
I've used lots of Burt's Bees products before. I wasn't very satisfied with this moisturizer. It didn't smell very nice, and didn't really help my dry facial skin.2
Everyone's nose is different, but for me personally I couldn't get past the smell to be able to use the product. Smelled like fresh cut stink weed to me3
Wow this is great on fair skin.I really like the fragrance as well.Great for guys as well. Great job. Birchbox.5
While I like most of the products on the product line I did not like this. It is a very heavy lotion. Would be great after a day skiing or after a long sun kissed vacation where my skin was very dry1
I liked the consistency and I didn't think the smell was bad, it just smelled a little plasticy the way philosophy face lotions smell. Unfortunately it broke me out. I guess it was way too thick for my oily skin. Seems like burts bees always breaks my skin out. That being said, it didn't make my face red which most facial lotions tend to do. It also didn't burn on application.1
