A message of stature deserves cardstock to match. In this collaboration with The Art of Manliness, Page Stationery offers refined, classic notecards that allow us to express our gratitude without the noise and frivolity of a drugstore card.
I'm a 38 year old man. I change my own tires, I don't Facebook, I don't have an ironic mustache. I wear custom made suits to work. I don't own flip flops. I don't care about snap chat. I drink my whiskey neat and if I need stitches I do them myself. (Okay. That last part is not true.)
I do like to write my thank you notes by hand. I also like to hand write notes of encouragement and congratulations to the people I care about. These cards are perfect. They are simple and masculine and unique with just the right amount of playfulness. Sure you can send a text that says "Congrats" with a ton of emoji s. But then you'd be a teenage girl and Justin Bieber fan. Don't be that guy. Send them a hand written note, be a man.
Snail Mail? These are great and look nice but who has the use for cards or stationary with email and phones?1
The stationary set is wonderful for sending little notes to family and friends. The paper is high-quality thick card stock and is letter-pressed giving it an extra classy feel. I love the variety of images on them too. I have looked for similar stationary in specialty stores and nothing compares to these.5
I received these cards in one of the earlier boxes from the company. Since then I have actually had some custom note cards made but these were impetus for that. Its always good to take a minute to send a hand written note to someone if you have been thinking about them for a while or they have done something especially nice for you. These note cards are a nice way to facilitate that practice.4
There are 3 or 4 images on the card. Firm card stock and great quality envelopes. These are single sheet, not a folding card, great for jotting down a quick personalized note. Cool "manly" images like a pipe and compass and gentleman in a top hat. Good for any application of dignified gestures.5
These are great if you are writing a really quirky note to someone. The card stock is great quality, and the unique designs atop each card are both manly and awesome.5
I feel like I could find something like this at any stationary store, very simple and nothing special about this stationary.2
I really enjoyed getting these for quick, encouraging notes that I send to friends, or quick hellos to add to care packages. I do kind of wish that I could get a set of just one design though (just boxer, just boat, etc).4
The look and feel of these cards are something special. A few of the images are a bit odd, like when do you send someone a card with the shirtless boxer on it? But the cardstock and feel of it all is quite nice, perfect for those little cards you give for assorted occasions that aren't a thank you note or a to:/from: tag.4
These "manly" notecards and envelopes are a perfect addition to the drawer of my writing desk. Mine are of the compass, pipe, and a dapper hatted gentleman. Very high quality and enable me to send a bit more personality in my notes (should my prose not have enough).5
