We love silver and gold as much as the next gal, but there’s something extra special about the pink-hued shade that’s popping up all over the jewelry scene. This metallic rose gold lacquer from NYC fashion house RUFFIAN (available exclusively through Birchbox) applies like liquid metal, so your nails shine and shimmer as much as the rings and bracelets stacked on your hands and wrists. Shine on.
I've received a few different samples of this brand's polish and I find it chips very soon after application, no matter if I use a base & top coat or not. I'm also not a fan of the metallic look.1
Not impressed with the color but the sample size is always plenty. but I do enjoy this product line and have other colors that are great1
I don't know if it was just the color I received, but it chipped within hours of having it on. By the second day all of my nails looked awful and were all chipped. Terribly quality, will not be purchasing from this brand. (For reference, I used base coat and topcoat with this polish and the color I chose was Rosary.) Huge thumbs down from me1
i did not like this color at all, i have got samples of this brand in the past and didn't like the colors either. not impressed.1
Nice color but did not like the consistency, it was too thick and left streaks.1
I really don't like the color or texture. And it left grid like lines on my nails.1
I put on two coats of this because the first one was too thin. I waited 45 minutes for it to dry and it was literally chipping within 2 hours. I had to end up taking it off because my nails were messed up within hours of putting this on (and this is with normal activities). Pretty color but just didn't last/dry well.1
This is the first product that I was really disappointed in. At first glance, I thought it applied well and looked great (I had the rose color) but then the next day, the parts that chipped a little looked dark and dirty and then three days later, I wore socks and sneakers and it completely smudged and ruined my nails. I only used two coats, and three days is clearly long enough to dry. I wouldn't purchase this brand for nails... unless the non-metallic options work better.1
I guess I am quite alone on this one but I found the metallic nail polish awful against my skin. It looks so bad. My hands looked diseased and jaundiced. It was easy to apply, but I didn't like how matte it looked and then with the top coat, it looked uneven. Maybe metallic nails aren't for me but wow, really unflattering.1
I love love love this color. The formula and packaging are adorable. win win win1
