Nail art will always have its place, but a new twist on this that we’re digging is the idea of nail architecture. Thanks to celeb nail artist and Nail Rock founder Zoe Pocock, we can build gorgeous nail looks with the likes of glitter, sequins, and other fancy add-ons.
This is a great idea. It really sparkles and is easy to do. Although i did have to put a top coat over it to keep the sparkles from falling off everywhere.4
Although I'm sure that the velvet versions of this product are quite chic, the 'Sequin Green' sparkle manicure product that I received was just not for me. I don't know why the chunky glitter on nails is now a trend - it seems tacky and childish to me. I tried it, just to see if it could look good as an accent nail or something - not only did it look GARISH, but the glitter proceeded to flake off rapidly over the next day and a half. Having nails that look like something a 4th grader would do and getting flakes of green chunky glitter on your face during a meeting is not hot. Not hot at all.2
this is the neatest polish ever. i love glitter and i can have super sparkly nails now.5
I loved the product and the idea, the price I recieved the Navy Velvet, it is a little hard to use and i wish there were some Tips & Tricks added into the instructions. Once you get the hang of it it does look great but it seems to be rubbing off after less then a day. I think one of the other types would be better becuase the overal concept of the product is great.3
I recieved the sequin green in my birchbox this month and it rules! Its a huge full sized nail polish and a big jar of the green sequins !I must admit i feel like a mermaid with this color on and for that I love it! Bring on summer!5
This nail Polish goes on great and the 'rocks' really add to it!4
I've seen this kind of thing around for the last couple of years but never tried it because it doesn't really fit my life style.
Love the color and the glitter sticks really well after the polish dries. However, the glitter is a mess and I had to use a top coat so I wouldn't ruin my tights.
I'm glad I got to try it and will probably use it again, but it's not something I would purchase.
I like the effect, but it was really messy with all of the loose glitter. I have a really similar nail polish by Essie that gives the same effects but doesn't lead to glitter everywhere since the glitter isn't loose in the Essie polish.2
Personally I like my nails simple and elegant so this kinds of nail art is not for me1
I believe that this product was a great addition to my box.3
