Nail art will always have its place, but a new twist on this that we’re digging is the idea of nail architecture. Thanks to celeb nail artist and Nail Rock founder Zoe Pocock, we can build gorgeous nail looks with the likes of glitter, sequins, and other fancy add-ons.
This is a cute idea, and one that my teen and pre teen grandkids will enjoy. I think at 52 I might need a more traditional polish...I will fine it try though....it is very cute polish.3
WOW, I'm in love with this nail polish kit, this gives me the chance to try the expensive salon style at home for a great price and it's so easy to use and my nails look great......5
Nice colors to choose from and the green sequin color I received in my birch box was really pretty! The application process can be a lil messy if you aren't real careful, I accidentally spilled sequin glitter all over the place..oops ha!3
I got this product in the green glitter. I used it on my ring fingers only in combination with my at-home gel kit (I used a dark purple on my other nails). I coated it with a layer of gel top coat to set in the glitter. It worked pretty well! Make sure when you dip your finger in the glitter, that you pat it down really well and clean up the edges so it doesn't stick up. Otherwise it feels jagged. Super fun and sparkly!4
I received the navy velvet texture. It was totally new to me. It worked well and stayed on when I tested it on a nail but the fuzzy texture just wasn't for me. I'd never wear it.
I think I would like the glitter though.
Thank you, Birchbox, for sending me not only a full-sized product, but one that's totally on-trend for the winter! I had seen suede polish but never velvet. I'm loving it! Yes, it's a little messy, but it's a really cool idea. I didn't give this product a perfect score because I'm a glittery girl and would have loved something pink and glitter instead of velvet. However, this polish will definitely match a lot more of my wardrobe.5
I have been wanting to try this type of mani. I was thrilled to get the navy velvet in my box! I really wanted to try velvet, although the neptune caviar caught my eye as well. I think this is a great deal... nail polish and a texture for 7$... many nail polishes alone cost that much! The blue is a very pretty color... with or without the velvet. The velvet itself is very easy to apply. I have tried this before with flocking powder from Michaels. That did not work. This did work. It is so fun! I will be buying the burgundy velvet and the neptune soon.5
Got a rose gold sample in my Birchbox. Such ya fun little kit and SO easy to use. Dries relatively quickl5
When I opened my birchbox I was very excited to try this new polish. The base coat went on smoothly and then i opened the glitter to dip my nails and glitter went all over the place. Most of the glitter that adhered to the skin outside of my nail, brushed off after a few tries, however my nails still appeared sloppily glittered. I am not sure I would leave the house with these nails. However, I could see younger girls just loving this look. The glitter is striking and the pink color is very pretty. And oh do my nails sparkle after putting this on!3
This polish wasn't so good. One the nail polish doesn't go on smoothly and when you dip your nails it comes out too clumpy and uneven.2
