Nail art will always have its place, but a new twist on this that we’re digging is the idea of nail architecture. Thanks to celeb nail artist and Nail Rock founder Zoe Pocock, we can build gorgeous nail looks with the likes of glitter, sequins, and other fancy add-ons.
I was leaving glitter everywhere I went. The surface of my nails felt rough. And removing the glitter when it was time to change polishes was a pain.1
When I first got this in my birchbox I thought it would be amazing because I love a sparkle on my nails. I am a nail polish guru and absolutely hated this product! Despite being extra careful and following directions exactly, the glitter still got everywhere and did not stay on the nail neatly. I would recommend a polish with sparkle already in it as this dip process did not work seamlessly.1
SO messy. I tried using my sample twice, just to make sure the smudgy mess I created the first time wasn't a fluke. The glitter gets everywhere and comes off so quickly. I had flashbacks to middle school nail polish nightmares. Probably very fun for little kids, not for a working adult. Sorry Birchbox... this wasn't a home run for me.1
This is definitely a fun idea. Nails that sparkle is always a good thing. The sparkles come off and are too messy even when you apply a top coat. It comes off everywhere so you leave sparkles anywhere you go. It could have been good but it just isn't.1
The color was perfect. It was so easy to use and stayed in for days even when working in a kitchen where you have to constantly wash your hands.5
Well the color was pretty but my goodness this stuff makes a huge mess. I am not sure what the trick is to get the glitter to stick without getting it everywhere. The base coat is pretty but I won't be using the glitter again.2
The trick with the glitter is to press it into the coat of polish it's going on and then wait for it to dry. I had to do this several times to get it to look exactly how I wanted. Typically I only used the glitter for an accent nail, too time consuming to do all ten digits. But the color is great enough on its own!3
I got this in my monthly box -- just the thought of using loose glitter on my nails drove me crazy...I didn't even bother trying it! I gave it away as a stocking-stuffer! This really seemed like it was going to be way more mess than I need in my life. I could be wrong but not likely. Definitely would not be a purchase I would make on my own accord.2
I'm not a huge fan of having textured nails anyway, but I made a friend try this and I didn't even like this look on someone else.1
tried product one it arrived. too messy and doesnt work like it says it does. Definitely will not purchase will stick with regular nailpolish.2
