Nail art will always have its place, but a new twist on this that we’re digging is the idea of nail architecture. Thanks to celeb nail artist and Nail Rock founder Zoe Pocock, we can build gorgeous nail looks with the likes of glitter, sequins, and other fancy add-ons.
I was excited to try this, but the Nail Rock in Velvet Burgundy is BAD! I only had it on one day. The Velvet was weird to put on and it came off in clumps, once i had it on kind of even I figured it did kind of look cool. BUT... It collected lint from everything I touched. I am ether going to give it to my 12 year old niece or trash it. I would suggest not buying this!1
I thought as I opened this that it was something I would never wear and might be for someone that is more of a rocker girl. My oldest daughter fell in love with it and she decided to use it at her party with her friends. She was the hit of the party.2
The red was a beautiful color. Lots of fun, but really messy and didn't have a lot of staying power.3
tried this as soon as i got it in the mail! loved the texture that it gave my nails, and the fact that the base coat was matte. However, the velvet coating did not stay on very long and there is no way to put a top coat on without ruining the effect. good look for about a day.3
I find doing the texture was a bit messy, and since I have the glitter sample, it gets everywhere.
I also feel like even with top coats (dulls the ruby red slipper effect) the glitter falls over within 24 hours
Nice concept but this product is very messy. I found it very difficult to apply and it didn't even stay on long once applied.3
Glitter is...difficult to work with, but for this super fun manicure, I'll deal. :) I love that the sample was full sized and that it came in such a great color!4
I received the red, I love the color but this is so messy unfortunately I was not patient enough to wait for the drying time and messed them up with in 5min. not for me but maybe if you had someone do it for you it would work.2
I sound like a broken record here, but I'd have to agree with most of the ok reviews. The nail polish itself needed many coats as it was too transparent. The glitter is messy and difficult to apply. Once it's on don't expect to remove it for a while. Not for me.2
It is very easy to use, dries fast and looks really cool! It feels fuzzy to the touch and is easy to touch-up.4
