Nail art will always have its place, but a new twist on this that we’re digging is the idea of nail architecture. Thanks to celeb nail artist and Nail Rock founder Zoe Pocock, we can build gorgeous nail looks with the likes of glitter, sequins, and other fancy add-ons.
This sample I believe is pretty much a full size of the product. I received the green glitter in my birch box and the application was easy and last for a good amount. Of course it's all about the application, may be a little difficult for people not very nail savy, but fun to apply nonetheless!4
It was way too messy and didn't turn out as desired. It only stayed on for the night and kept falling off.2
The glitter doesn't stay on for more than a few minutes and it doesn't look as good as I'd hoped it would. I ordered the red and it's a little orangey. Also tried the chunkier glitter from the sample in my box. Looks pretty tacky.2
Got this in the blue color and it is really fun. My only advise is that it can get a little messy but just use it over a papertowel and wash your hands when you're done and that cuts down on the glitter spreading everywhere. Other than that, I recommend using a top coat and you're all set! Very fun, fast, and cute.4
I really enjoyed using the nail rock product. I received the velvet purple shade, it was perfect to use as an accent nail. I would recommend this product to a friend!5
It was a bit tricky to apply, I was able to figure a technique that would allow them to come out neat..I recieved the navy velvet and was a nice finished product. Classy-like and looked fab with gold rings..it does tend to flake off a bit so it'd be ideal just for the evening. .4
I received the blue glitter Nail Rock in the bonus sample pack. I was a little nervous to use it because it looked like it would be a horrible mess. I have to say, it turned out better than I expected! First, the blue nail polish is pretty thin, but a pretty color. I only applied 1 coat knowing I was going to apply the glitter. I painted 1 or 2 nails, dipped it in the glitter... repeat. Once it was dry I used a Q-Tip to remove the glitter on my fingers (the extra dry glitter sticks so it is easier than brushing it off with napkin or hand), used a brush with some nail polish remover on it to clean up any polish/glitter combo that got on my skin, added a clear top coat (a must!!) and it was done! The top coat tones down the glitter slightly, but makes it so there isn't glitter all over your house! My only problem is I want more colors now and I might be a bit too old to be wearing bright glittery blue nail polish... but its summer and summers are fun. ;)5
This was the best every love it. Got more on the way amazing my girls love it they ask for it all the time5
I was so excited to receive this in my Birchbox. Looked so cool but a little bummed because the glitter didn't stay for very long - not even for the whole day! A friend received the caviar nail rock and I totally intend to give that a chance though!4
First off, let me say, I do nail art on my nails all the time - including sequins and fake jewels etc. So, when I received the glitter box in the mail, I was super excited!
Then I tried it. First off, it made a huge mess. And then the glitter didn't even last 12 hours. I've tried it 2 times since them, same thing both time. :(
