It’s far too often that quantity is indirectly correlated to quality. Not so with Harney & Sons—more than 30 years old and three generations strong, the company has always been committed to preserving founder John Harney’s tradition of fine tea. Even as they’ve grown from their original six teas to more than 300, the renowned tea brand’s dedication to its craft has never waivered. We’ll drink to that.
Has a great flavor to it. Not too strong, just right. I also find the satchets make for better flavor.4
Some mornings I have no time to make coffee before work and I bring tea, this tea was a nice replacement to my morning coffee and didn't need honey nor sugar. Great tea!4
I'm addicted to this brand, especially because of teas like this that offer a very different blend and unique flavor. A must to try!5
Harney and Sons is a great tea brand, and for me, this is one of their best flavors. The Paris blend has such a unique flavor--perfect for afternoon tea or to replace your cup of coffee in the morning. :)5
I thankfully live relatively close to the brick and mortar Harney & Sons store in Soho. I've been lucky enough to sample many of their teas and consistency purchase (and repurchase) the Paris tea. It's a black tea that is similar to Earl Grey, but with black currant and vanilla notes to bring it up to a whole other level. It's good plain, but adding (soy) milk and a bit of sugar starts my day off right. These sachets are great because they are the full leaf loose tea - not the ground up tea that you're used to when you use a standard tea bag. If you don't want to use loose tea or want something that's easy to use in the office, I highly recommend these Paris sachets.5
The Good: Harney & Sons makes a delicious cup of tea, and their Paris blend is no exception. This black tea has fragrant fruity notes and a fine undertone of rich, decadent caramel. Fortunately for all you tea lovers, this redolent blend refrains from becoming too sweet. I absolutely love the fine mesh bags that allow the leaves to unfurl, and I found the steeping times and temperatures on the side of the packaging to be extremely helpful!
The Bad: I struggle to find any criticism I can offer. I suppose the flavor of the tea is significantly weaker if attempt to steep a second cup from the same bag, but that's to be expected.
Finally, a tea bag that actually lets the tea leaves soak into the water, rather than float on top!
The flavor of this tea is very nice, although if you don't like earl grey, you may want to skip this.
This tea is amazing!! After living in England for a number of years I have become a bit of a tea snob. But thankfully enough I found Harney & Sons who do not disappoint when it comes to tea, like some other tea companies. I am a huge fan of Earl Grey and English Breakfast decided I wanted to give this a try. It is so good! Its a black tea mixed with light fruit undertones with allows the tea to not be so heavy. Its perfect for a mid-morning pick me up! I may buy this tea for the rest of my life, its that good!5
This tea is so fancy. I love the bags and the name- for whatever reason those things (which have nothing to do with the flavor) make a big difference here. The flavor is outstanding too, though. It's got a mild smoky caramel hint. It's strange because it's not sweet, but the smell makes it almost seem sweet. I haven't put honey in it yet, but I imagine it would escalate the flavor well.5
What more can be said...H&S's teas are outstanding and Paris is my favorite. The sachet bags are able to make a large mug of tea to savor at anytime.5
