Thanks to organic ingredients and triple-milled pigments, this mineral foundation takes the “natural” look to a whole new level. Just one application evens skin tone, quashes redness, and bestows a healthy glow. Best of all, it feels totally breathable and lightweight—perfect for those who don’t love the heaviness of liquid formulas.
I loved it at first, but the more I used it my face started hurting. The last time I used it my face burned so bad, I had to immediately wash it off. It felt like tiny shards of glass entered my pores. Have you ever gotten home insulation on your skin -ya, that's the feeling. I had a horrible rash and peeling skin on my face that took a few days of constant aloe and hyaluronic acid to fix. The very odd thing to me is that I have NEVER had a severe allergic reaction to any makeup or skin care. I am a beauty product and subscription box blogger, so I have tested and used so many different products. Yes, I've had issues with things irritating or itching, but NOTHING like this. I had my two daughters try it -one of them absolutely hated it because it made her skin peel (dryness), the other it made her acne dramatically worse with just one use. I rarely write bad reviews, but this product is just that bad.1
Needed a new mineral powder foundation. Tried this one as reviews were very good. Didn't work well for me. Felt very heavy.3
This product was just an alright purchase for me. I usually use bareMinerals, but decided to give this a try since I could get it from Birchbox. I probably won't get it again, but it's not bad if you're trying to use Birchbox points.3
This is a nice mineral foundation, tho it seems to fall into my pores & lines a bit. Could prob be corrected if I used a primer tho. The color stayed all day. I did get a bit oily in the afternoon tho. I normally use inka & it can be drying at times, this foundation isn't but is also why I prob get oily. Again primer might solve this. I got the light neutral color & it looked really light in the container, however, was not once applied. I tend to be light -medium on the lighter side & this color was perfect. I like the feel of the powder, it's not heavy or cakey.4
Organic ingredients are hard to find in a mineral foundation that also gives a “natural” look when applied.
This lightweight formula helps to even skin tone, reduce redness and give a healthy glow.
This feels totally natural.
Your skin can breathe.
It is great for those who don’t like the heaviness of liquid foundation.
Great coverage. I have fair, dry skin and this isn't drying at all. Smooth application, feels clean on my skin.
There are a lot of shades available but I needed the lightest and it's a good match.
I wanted an all natural mineral foundation which would be light and offer buildable coverage and that's exactly what I got -- and it smells great to boot!
this product definitely helps with my redness, which is an issue for me and i can barely even feel it when i wear it alone, and it seals the deal nicely when i wear it under my bb cream!
This is a great sheer powder. I love the company and how natural it is. It's not full coverage but you can layer it for more.4
I don't wear a lot of make up, and this mineral powder is perfect! It blends very evenly, doesn't look like I a wearing anything at all, but I can tell that it is covering up imperfections and evening out skin tone.4
I recently purchased the Artist 16 in Medium Golden and it seems to be too light or too yellow. I tend to look better in warmer shades, but I think I'm going to purchase the 15 Medium Neutral shade. 16 makes me look golden and glowing, so it's ok that I'm wearing it in the summer with the bronzer in medium 52, but I think that a good "go to" shade for me will be the medium neutral. We'll see!4
