Thanks to organic ingredients and triple-milled pigments, this mineral foundation takes the “natural” look to a whole new level. Just one application evens skin tone, quashes redness, and bestows a healthy glow. Best of all, it feels totally breathable and lightweight—perfect for those who don’t love the heaviness of liquid formulas.
It has horrible coverage. I hate it. I had high hopes given the all natural ingredients and the price but this brand has failed me. I have acne and it didn't cover any of it. I put it on and it looked like before I started, literally nothing. I wish I could get my money back!1
I loved it at first, but the more I used it my face started hurting. The last time I used it my face burned so bad, I had to immediately wash it off. It felt like tiny shards of glass entered my pores. Have you ever gotten home insulation on your skin -ya, that's the feeling. I had a horrible rash and peeling skin on my face that took a few days of constant aloe and hyaluronic acid to fix. The very odd thing to me is that I have NEVER had a severe allergic reaction to any makeup or skin care. I am a beauty product and subscription box blogger, so I have tested and used so many different products. Yes, I've had issues with things irritating or itching, but NOTHING like this. I had my two daughters try it -one of them absolutely hated it because it made her skin peel (dryness), the other it made her acne dramatically worse with just one use. I rarely write bad reviews, but this product is just that bad.1
I'm a little (ok... maybe a lot!) disappointed with this product. I've been wanting to try it for a while and finally gave in an bought it. For $30, you barely get ANY powder in this little container. The container itself is tiny and it isn't even filled up all the way. I can find the same foundation powder for a lot cheaper and has way more product! I'm glad I got to try it but I feel like I wasted $30. They need to really re-evaluate the pricing on this. If it was half as expensive, I would buy again. But since it's not, I will not be buying again. Sorry.2
Really wanted to like this because it's so natural, but it sat on my face vs blending in. I compared it to my other mineral foundation and the quality of the other one was much better. Returned.2
It's golden medium, but it's more yellow than the same color from BareEssential. The texture is good, but not doesn't stay on your skin as well as BE product. It's decent, but I will stick to BE since it's cheaper and works better.3
I got the color 15 for light/med neutral skin tone and this stuff is yellow. Made my face yellow as well. It didn't cover much, which is ok since I'd be wearing over BB cream. I am going to have to send this back. I was so wanting to love this too. I live the ingredient list and it definitely didn't break me out. The color is just very off, and I wouldn't be able to wear it alone as foundation as it reads.3
I love mineral powders, this one was . . .meh. I like this brand so I gave it a shot. OK to use over a moisturizer. Not great.3
Needed a new mineral powder foundation. Tried this one as reviews were very good. Didn't work well for me. Felt very heavy.3
This product was just an alright purchase for me. I usually use bareMinerals, but decided to give this a try since I could get it from Birchbox. I probably won't get it again, but it's not bad if you're trying to use Birchbox points.3
Provides good coverage for redness and my acne scarring. I just have to use a concealer as spot coverage. Still prefer cream foundation over matte powder. Clean ingredient list is a bonus.4
