It’s important to note that Narcissus, that tragic symbol of human vanity, fell in love with his reflection in a pool. If he’d used a magnifying mirror instead, the story might have ended differently. Fortunately for us, W3LL PEOPLE has created an all-in-one kit that perfects our skin down to the last detail. The all-natural, weightless Narcissist Stick Foundation conceals blemishes, while the Deluxe Foundation Brush gives skin an airbrushed finish.
I love this stick!! Its easy to use, and easy to carry along for touch-ups. I'm all about enhancing and not about covering up your face and this stick gives my skin an amazing glow without looking cakey or greasy. It also offers buildable coverage. It also lasts all day which is a major plus for natural/organic products.5
Great set. Love the texture of the product itself. Anything that is in stick form wins points in my book. Great for travel or to have in my bag around town. Works nice on top of BB cream as a concealer as well. Blendable and buildable.4
If you are thinking of getting this you have to get it with the brush. It matches my skin & covers well( again, use the brush). Pimples are a little more difficult to cover. The only downfall is that it only last 6 hours- even with a primer.4
Ever since I started wearing makeup, I've been using a mineral powder foundation. It's important to me that I'm not putting tons of chemicals on my skin. Recently, that makeup started breaking me out and my skin was looking really dull too. I already really liked the Universalist Color Stick as my blush, so I figured I'd give this foundation a try. It was an adjustment using a cream foundation instead of powder and I found that I had to experiment to get the coverage right--it helps that I like light coverage. I have acne prone skin and some scarring :( and am trying to heal that. This foundation immediately made a difference. Although I do find that I look a little shiny by the end of the day, a dusting of powder could fix that. Otherwise, my skin looks healthier with the makeup on and more hydrated all the time. I think it's the aloe in the formula that's doing it. The brush works great too and to prevent breakouts I just wash it with my gentle facewash a couple evenings a week.5
I was really excited to try this and then I got it and was a bit disappointed. The brush has a weird scent (it went away already). When you first put on this stick it has a shiny effect but I quickly learned that it dulls away with time. With all that said, my skin looks very natural with this foundation and I absolutely love it, the brush is soft and blends well. While you can build up this foundation I recommend using concealer before and pressed power after applying.4
This works SO well! I have a scar right under my eye and its totally not visable with this makeup - not sure if its the brush or the makeup or the combo but they're great! I love this stuff - I love feeling like a supermodel and this stuff does it!5
This is very light on my face compared to the liquid foundation I used to wear, so it's much nicer to my sensitive skin.
I'm having trouble figuring out what is the best way to put it on, I'm not used to just rubbing it on with the stick. I'm glad I got the brush with it, it's a really good way to blend without using my fingers and it's very soft on my face.
I was very excited to try this foundation/brush combo, but sadly, I will be returning it. I have oily/combo skin and struggle to find a foundation that keeps the shine in check and doesn't melt off my face. This stick has a beautiful finish to it and a nice smell, but it doesn't do much in the way of oil control. Even with a primer and finishing powder, I would have to blot within a few hours, and then again later in the day (which is not normal for me, even with my oil-prone skin). It also made my face feel more greasy than usual; I don't feel the foundation brush in this kit is necessary for application either, and found that I preferred the finish when using my hands or a beauty blender.2
I've been looking for long time for foundation that looks natural and not cakey. I am fair but tan easily and got this in #2. Perfect match for me. You must moisturizer and use primer for this to glide on easily. Not full coverage but build able. The brush is great too. I've got combo skin and this works well. Feels weightless on and gives luminescence to skin that is natural. Not shiny or sparkly by any means. Just fresh looking.5
I have quite a few blemishes and red face and I was looking for something with decent coverage. I have to either use a lot concealer first, then the makeup and blend with a brush, or I have to use the stick and liberally apply directly to my face and then blend. It works okay with those methods, but it's just too much makeup that I have to use for the price. I've used over the counter liquid foundation that worked better and cost $10. I agree with other reviews that it's not heavy and I haven't had any breakouts since using it so I'd assume it would be okay for sensitive skin types.3
