Pretty good...not perfect.

I've been looking for a replacement for my Bliss No Zit Sherlock routine since it became less available sometime last year. I have not had an easy time of it. My skin is prone to small bumps, some of which get clogged and turn into pimples. My skin is prone to being oily, but can easily be dried out, especially in the winter. Most products exacerbate my mild acne, including most products for 'normal' skin, as well as products for sensitive or acne-prone skin. In other words, most products don't work.

I finally found an acceptable combination of cleanser, toner, and moisturizer, each one from a different brand and each one using benzoyl peroxide, but I wasn't super convinced...my towels have been getting bleached and my skin was still oily and I almost always had at least one big pimple somewhere and sometimes my skin seemed a little red and blotchy. So I thought it was worth trying a something new. Enter this set from Evologie.

I've been using the Evologie set for around two weeks now and I've had mixed but generally favorable results. Con: My skin seems a bit bumpier over all, and I seem to have more very tiny clogged pores, especially at the edges of my face (especially my temples and hairline) but have not had many very big pimples since starting this Evologie routine two weeks ago. Pro: while my skin still seems to get clogged, these impurities don't flare up into pimples. Also, I've noticed that even when my skin feels bumpy, my skin tone and texture looks pretty good in the mirror. In addition, the pores beside my nose seem noticeably smaller, a result I've never obtained with any other acne treatment before.

Overall I'm pretty pleased with the set and think I'll keep using it for awhile, but if those small bumps don't calm down this will never be a five-star product in my book.
