After six years of wanting to try this, I saw a box on the shelf in my local supermarket. I bought all the ingredients (butter, heavy cream, confectioner's sugar and eggs) and whipped it up. Once it had been refrigerated overnight, I tried it and couldn't believe what a disappointment it was!
Surely, the real Crack Pie does not taste like this! To me, it resembled pecan pie without the pecans. I've learned my lesson and can't wait until the fall when I go to NYC and can try the real deal!
