Loud enough for the beach
Got this in a monthly birchbox and love it. Was impressed with the quality and how long the battery lasts for something so small. We use it on our trips to the beach and a full charge has lasted us 2 hours at least. Its loud enough to be heard within an area of about 10 feet which is perfect for outdoor use when its quiet. I wouldnt count on this for any loud city like settings though, but to be honest.....you probably shouldnt be playing music in that setting anyway.
