Clumpy and eye-irritating

This mascara might be perfectly fine in comparison to other mascaras, but I don't wear mascara because every one I've tried has severely irritated my eyes. (I have allergies and my eyes in particular tend to be overly sensitive.) But I got this as a sample and it claimed to be a super great mascara, so I thought why not try it. Unfortunately, this mascara irritated my eyes just like every other one AND came out super clumpy. I definitely cannot recommend this product.
And hopefully, birchbox will stop sending me mascara.
