product arrived in a dirty, already opened box

I don't know what's happening over at the Birchbox logistics department, but this was gross. A dirty, unsealed product? This isn't the norm with shipments - regardless, I'm posting a review about it because I haven't had a reply from customer service.
As for the product - their selling point as "broad spectrum sunscreen" means that it only works on UVA rays, thought the term implies UVA/UVB protection. UVA protection absorbs rays, UVB protection reflects rays: this product notes that it absorbs both.
It's essentially a mild, half-efficient sunscreen. In a dirty box.
