I don't have curly hair, and my hair NEVER holds anything! But i had a blow out three days ago and the stylist used this to hold my hair in place, and it still looks great and doesn't feel abnormally greasy! She even said her's lasted 8 days before it lost its nice fresh blown out look! Highly reccommend!
Good hold...and smells so, so good
I've used every curly hair product out there, from creams to gels to mousses, and this is one of my hands-down favorites. I've never received so many compliments on the smell of my hair before; no joke, every time I put it in, I receive at least one comment from a friend or passerby. It also has great hold that isn't TOO stiff.
Container jammed after a few uses
The container the mousse is in is terrible, resulting in an inability to use the product. The first few squirts were so cold and frozen they nearly cold burned my hand. Then the nozzle jammed and it is impossible to get anything out. I've done everything I can think of (run under hot water, etc) to try and loosen the product out but nothing comes out at all. So I have a full bottle of pricey mousse that I can't use because the bottle is worthless.
good volume, too sticky
This does provide the volume promised for my curly hair, but the "hold" is too sticky--you can't run your hands through your curls like you can when using a cream rather than a mousse. Not sure I would buy it again--certainly not a miracle product.
Pretty darn good
I like this stuff a lot when I first used it. In the wind of Fargo though, it doesn't hold up. I try to use it on "non-windy" days and I like it. I can go two days by just spritzing a little water on my hair and restyling. My daughter who has even curlier hair than me (tight spirals) loves this and I always find it on her vanity. She has nice virgin hair though and mine is more damaged.
