I love the Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray, but this one is a mystery to me. It does feel like lacquer and gives hair a coating, which can be really gross if you get a little too much on. Also, you don't want to spray it once you have your clothes on. It did help hold curl in my hair but I felt the mess of it made it not worth the end result.
Nice for blow drying
Gave my hair nice feel and no frizz without stickiness
This is my favorite oribe product. Im a hair stylist that specializes in wedding styles, I DONT GO ANYWHERE without this product. Curls stay for days !
On the fence
I really like the Oribe brand but I have very ...very fine hair and this just weighed my hair down. I even tried it several times using WAY less product but it just isant for me. He packaging is nice but just gave to my daughter and she likes it a lot.
A little tricky to use, but works great once you figure it out
I first discovered this product when my hairstylist used it to curl my hair. She sprayed it on each lock of hair before curling, and then followed up when she was done with some light hairspray. I am not joking when I tell you my beautiful beach waves lasted THREE DAYS and still looked perfect. They would have lasted four, but I couldn't justify not washing my hair after that long.
However, when I used the product myself for the first time, I think I sprayed too much and too close to my hair, because it made my hair sticky. It took me a couple of times to figure this out, but now I can use it and it looks good and doesn't get sticky. Use it sparingly and make sure to hold the can far away from your hair, and it works great.
