My stylist always finishes my hair with this product and it it great. Pros are that it gives you lots of control, shape and piece-y style where you apply it (for that easy tousled or styled look) and it smells great. My two cautionary comments are that: 1. I look great the day I use it, but the next morning I have a crazy post-product bed head of smooshed hair after I use this, so it's not for gals who don't wash their hair every day. And 2. you have to REALLY shake the can for 30 seconds or more to mix the ingredients inside so the mousse coming out of the can is the right combination of ingredients.
If you wash you hair every day, and you don't mind heavily shaken (not stirred) cannister management, try Surfcomber!
This stuff is great! I have blonde, stick-straight fine hair (but a lot of it). I use this stuff on damp hair and let it air dry. It gives my hair body that my hair otherwise never has
If used right, it works well. A little goes a long way and if you don't disperse it through your hair immediately, it can dry kind of crusty. It's very sticky.
I think it works very well for that tousled look. Not so much for that polished look. I also like the way curls look/hold after hair has air dried with this in it, then styled.
If you're going for effortlessly beachy, this is your product!
I've been using this for a year and I love it. It doesn't actually give my hair a tousled look though- for that I need my curing iron and some beach wave spray. It does however give my limp straight hair texture and volume.
Great for thin, fine hair.
I have thin fine hair and often find that mousses are a bit too heavy for me. This is great, because I can put it in my damp hair, twist bits of it (or just toussle) and my hair will look thicker and more textured without looking fried or crispy.
Occasionally I will just let my hair dry with going through the whole dry and curl time. This mouse works well. May work a little too well. I will have to use less so it doesn't stick bug hunks of hair together when you scrunch it.
