We like a frozen cocktail as much as the next girl, but these days we prefer to whip up something a little bit different. Matcha, the antioxidant-packed powdered green tea, is just as good iced as it is hot. And thanks to this DIY kit from the tea aficionados at Harney & Sons, you can brew a frosty, energy-boosting drink whenever you get the urge.
How it Works
Each kit comes with 1.06 ounces of Japanese Senjunomukashi, a thick, heady matcha, a plastic shaker, and a teaspoon measure.
How to Use
For best results, start by mixing about a teaspoon of matcha with a small amount of hot (not quite boiling) water. Fill the shaker with ice, then pour the syrup into the shaker. Top off with cold water and shake, shake, shake.
