Desktop cable management may not be sexy, but neither is rooting around on your hands and knees amidst the mounting dust bunnies under your desk looking for your fallen power charger. Cordies keeps all your power cords, phone chargers, and audio cables in order so you can plug in and unplug easily and quickly.
I absolutely love this product! It's terrific for keeping cords where they are easy to find, especially when you have a lot of them all in the same location. I have 1 at home and 1 at work.
I also wrap up my headphones and put them in one of the slots to keep them handy as well.
I have about 3 cords on mine right now and so far it seems heavy enough to hold them all. I haven't had any issues with it yet and I think it looks quite nice on my desk!
This product just simply doesn't weigh enough, or have enough grip to prevent it from falling off the back of my desk when loaded with cables. The look and simplicity is great, but it just needs a little bit more weight to it for me to suggest it to others.
I like the idea but it is very small and although weighted to stay in place, it is not quite sturdy enough to hold my cords in place. I'm almost thinking a velcro tie-down associated with a bigger base would function better. Not bad, but I consider it clutter now on my desk and am no longer using it.
The heavy base keeps the cord-holder in place. I bought black and brushed aluminum; the black has an allover rubber coating that shows a little dust, but the aluminum one looks pristine.
Elegant solution for organizing the tangle of wires we all deal with at home and in the office. No need for installation, though it has that capability if needed The weight of the product keeps it in place wherever you may hide it among your electronics. It's great for portable devices which need to be deployed without cumbersome disconnects. Just slip your cable from the grip and off you go. Well done, Quirky.
