Romano Ricci, the self-described “offbeat dandy of the perfume world,” used only a single element to create this minimalist perfume. Ricci takes Shakespeare’s ill-fated heroine as the inspiration for his line, giving her a 21st century makeover. Not a Perfume is a unique, minimalist scent that uses just a single note.
This scent is amazing! I am so glad I got this sample so now I know to purchase. This is going to be my new signature scent.
I like more of a fruity floral or clean type fragrance. This scent is not for me. It smells more woody or musky to me.
I really like this! It has a sort of clean linen smell to it and not overpowering. Very nice for a spring scent.
Received a sample in my birchbox and absolutely loved it! i rationed it so it didn't go so quickly! such a great, light scent!
the sample size was terrible. It made the sample completely unusable. I "think" the perfume smells nice, but I'm not sure because the sample was on a piece of paper :-(
I love to sample and use different perfumes but this just smelled weird. I tried it a few times and it is not for me.
I work in a small office and have to be careful with strong perfumes and this one is perfect. Even my husband that can't stand most perfumes loves this crisp clean scent.
I love this unique single note fragrance! It doesn't smell like anything else and becomes it's own scent on me. I spray a bit on my sheets sometimes to help me sleep because the fragrance is just intoxicating, (although it's a little pricey to use as a linen spray!)
I wasn't "in love" with this fragrance, but it was alright. I tend to like more of a slight citrus/floral fragrance in my perfumes, and felt that this one was lacking that element. But it is not bad. I will keep the sample on hand but I doubt I will buy a full size version.
I like this but did not find it distinctive enough to purchase. Despite it being "Not a Perfume," - that's exactly what I found it to be, and little more.
