Pixi Beauty Lip & Line Primer

There are two surefire ways to ruin a bold lipstick look: dry, flaky lips and wandering pigments. Pixi Beauty’s lip-perfecting wand solves both problems. The two-in-one pencil has a moisturizing, nude balm to prime lips for pigments and a translucent lip liner to keep those punchy hues in place.

good color, but not a moisturizing as I would like

I received this in the birchbox, so the color was pre-selected. The color in the box was a bit harsher than I would have picked, a brickish red. But the color was true, and the two applicators worked well. However, it looked a bit severe on me. I needed to apply a soft gloss on top to maintain moisture. Would probably not purchase this, but it was fun to try.

Fine Product

I think this is a fine product if you feel this step, priming your lips is necessary for you in your makeup routine. I originally thought it was a necessary step for me.

But I find I don't really reach for it. It does what it is supposed to...creates a nice base and guide for lipstick. When I do use it, it works just fine. I just don't find that it is a requirement in my own makeup routine.

It's okay.

The lip primer leaves a dried effect on your lips, even with chapstick applied, but it does prolong your lipstick wear... As far as the line primer, I didnt notice a difference and it didn't glide on as smooth as I hoped.

liked it but

lip liner lasted longer than the primer because the primer broke off. I was loving the product til that happened.
