Buh-bye sock bun. The style to rock right now is the romantic and effortless half-up, half-down. For a look reminiscent of Claire Danes circa Romeo + Juliet, rely on SARAHPOTEMPA's The Half Up™. Like its big sis The WRAP UP™, this nifty tool helps you fake a fuller mane and secures your bun without the help of bobby pins.
This is so much easier to use that the sock bun that is all over the internet. I love the bun look but my hair is really thin and a bun never looked good until now. The product is so simple and holds all day long. After taking out the Half-up, my hair was slightly wavy and had really go bounce.
My hair is shoulder length, slightly layered and rather fine. I found the half up a little tricky to use at first, however after a couple readjustments and attempts throughout the day, I was able to make it work. For me, it worked best if I didn't put the wrap up at the very end of my hair. I just tucked the end pieces into the bun as I continued to work up my pony tail. Also the tighter I made the wrap up bun, the better it held.
I don't have thick hair but I have long hair and this made for difficult use. Love the easy concept but don't foresee myself using this product except for in the house.
I have long hair and it's a little fine. It did work with the top half of my hair but when I tried it on all of my hair I couldn't get it to stay in.
This wouldn't keep my hair in place and kept showing through. I have thick hair so wouldn't think this would happen.
My hair was too thick to fit it all into one bun, but I tried it with half of my hair and it was pretty cute. It'd probably work just fine if you have thinner hair.
Maybe my hair is too thin for this, but this product kept slipping out and wouldn't stay in the bun shape.
I found this product easy to use. Took a few tries but once I got the hang of it it looked cute.
I found this product was difficult to use. The beige color was not great for blonde hair. The clasp was a bit difficult to open but the greatest problem was with securing the clip in place. I would definitely need to use bobby pins if I was to rock this look for a night out.
I have thick short hair. Pretty useless for me. Sadly I won't benefit from it. But the concept seems cool.
