For instant complexion gratification, there’s nothing better than Pangea’s skin-boosting cocktail. Powered by matcha – the mother of all green teas – and an army of organic superfoods like acai and goji berry, this deliciously pure formula keeps skin clear and smooth. Is it any wonder that it’s a perpetual award-winner?
really weird texture, not homogenous, but the after effects are oh so good. skin feels renewed!
If you can get past the odd texture, this mask is great for sensitive skin. Usually masks make my face red and tight or cause me to break out the next day, but this was gentle and left my skin feeling soft and didn't strip the moisture from my face. It's a chunky, earthy smelling mask but I enjoy the smell of this mask over artificial scents. Plus it's made with natural ingredients, which is always better for you and your skin.
I got this mask in my oily/blemish kit. This is a weird mask. It has chunks in it, it is not a smooth mask & I am not sure what the purpose is of the chunks? I use it once a week and have for 2 weeks now. The sample in the kit seems to last a while. My face does feel nice and clean after use, but I have noticed I break out the day after use. Its not a bad mask, but not a mind blowing mask either. I would not buy it on its its own, but if you use the entire skin care line it is worth the purchase.
I love this product. after applying is leaves my face so smooth. my skin looks and feels great after using this.
This isn't like a clay or cream mask. It's completely natural, filled with tons of antioxidants, and after I use it my skin feels clean, smooth, calmed, and refreshed. I'm super-sensitive, but it doesn't strip all of my moisture away or leave me red and tingly. The smell is really kind of nice - like being in an herb garden in the rain. I guess for some people it could be overpowering, but I really like it. And I like that it dries, then when you wash it off, the larger bits work as exfoliants. All in all, I guess it's not for everyone. But I really love this mask. It's "weirdness" is exactly the kind of thing I enjoy, but aside from that, it really is effective.
I absolutely love this product! The feel and scent took some getting used to but once that happens, the performance is undeniable. My skin looked fantastic after 1 use and the feeling of softness was fabulous. I have hormonal acne flare-ups but regular use of this product seems to quell the influx of this nastiness. Would definitely recommend to anyone that wants an organic product with results.
I really love this mask, and before Birchbox carried this brand I was ordering off Amazon or buying from my local Whole Foods' store. Like others have said, it has a strong herbal scent and doesn't look pretty, but it definitely gives you a rosier complexion. It also makes my skin less oily for a few days.
I finally tried this mask a few days ago and I love it! For whatever reason my cheeks have been a little more red than usual, but after this mask, the redness was completely gone. It definitely soothed something in my skin. Will definitely continue to use this 1-2 times per week.
This mask isn't your typical clay, gel, or cream mask - it's an all-natural combination of antioxidant-rich ingredients that you're more likely to find at Whole Foods than in a skincare product. But it makes sense that what's good for you to eat is also good for your skin. After I use this, my skin has a lovely glow, and it feels clean and refreshed but not in the unpleasant, stripping-of-moisture way.
You have to approach the texture with a sense of humor: it's not pretty. It's green and there are larger bits of ingredients in it, and it smells quite strongly of rosemary (if you can't handle herbal scents, you won't be able to tolerate this). I personally love the smell.
After about 20 minutes, it dries down (but not in your typical clay mask sense), and then you must use warm water to wash the mask off thoroughly. Those larger bits I spoke of earlier come in handy here because they act as a gentle physical exfoliant. It's true that the mask takes some effort to get off because it sticks quite well, but to me it's not problematic.
If you want to try something truly different AND effective (and without any nasty, pore-clogging ingredients!), I highly recommend this mask!
It looks a little funky as it dries on your face with all the chunky-ness but it feels so good when you rinse and you're left with soft smooth skin.
