One of the true leaders of the BB craze, Dr. Jart+ came blazing on the scene stateside a few years ago and has since been acquiring cult status. Arm yourself with this set of beautifying creams, which provide light coverage while nourishing and soothing skin with a host of good-for-you ingredients (think: antioxidant green tea, chamomile, and argan oil).
OMG!!! I wish Birchbox still carried this. It was my favorite gift set. The BB cream in here is excellent. It stays on well, gives coverage without feeling heavy, blends well, and really evens everything out. I also love how there are different SPF so for different days, I would switch up accordingly. This set also got my friends hooked on Dr.Jarts too. Love.5
I am so glad to have these in my make-up drawer! To be honest, I'm not sure which I like the best. It's really great to have the higher SPFs during the summer. While I notice a slight difference in the thickness of one to another, I can't say I notice a difference in how they cover when applied.5
I ordered this set quite a few months ago and I still have over 1 full tube. Great value for the brand as well! The spf protection is a plus.5
I had tried Dr. Jart BB cream before in a Birchbox and liked it. I finished my sample and knew I needed more. Luckily, I received another Dr. Jart BB cream in a box a couple months later. After trying the second sample once, I knew that this brand was a keeper.
I was DELIGHTED to see this collection available, and was blown away by the size of each product. It was great to have four different creams to alternate between. It was nice to see/feel the subtle differences between all products. The sizes were great for home and travel alike, and there was never concern over the products opening in my purse.
Renewalist and Black were probably my favorites, but if this set continues to stay available I will continue purchasing all four.
I love Dr. Jart+ BB cream. This is a great deal to try out and see which you like the best. You get really good size tubes and they will last a couple months for sure! I like the Black tube - Detox, the best. Will be buying it when I'm out of them all. The 2nd runner up is the red tube which is very similar to the black. The blue tube is more hydrating and little more sheer. The gold is a skin brightening and i think it's similar to the blue one.
Also it has a good amount of coverage.
One thing is that is comes only in one color. For fair - light skin. Which works great for me. I am actually light/medium but this puts on a good base to start so my contouring and bronzers shows up well.
I bought this sample pack after getting the black BB cream as a birchbox sample. By far, that one is the best one out of the 4. The blue one which is suppose to hydrate does do well in the winter months on my dry skin. The red one has a pinker hue to it, or to me it does, which is something I don't need. The other one (gold) is a weaker form of the black one. It was fun to try and I'm glad I did so I wouldn't always wonder if there was a better one than the black BB cream. It does have a heavier coverage than the others; it's more like a foundation than a light BB cream.5
I love Dr. Jart. I use these foundations everyday. So light and covering, I almost need nothing over it. Instantly evens my skin tone.5
Used all 4 different ones and they all work for me. It's best on fair skin. My mom broke out using product but she had very sensitive skin.5
I've switched to a BB cream as my daily foundation, mostly because I love the idea of using a makeup product that's better for my skin. At 33, I'm much concerned about what I put on my face than I was in my twenties. I loved the idea of being able to try several options before committing to a single cream. I've tried drugstore brands, but they are little more than tinted moisturizer, and I wanted something a bit more substantial.
I've had the opportunity to try two of the Dr. Jart samples from my kit - Water Fuse and Detox. Water Fuse has the consistency that I'm familiar with - lightweight but very blend able. Detox is a good bit thicker - it's truly more of a foundation texture than a moisturizer. I wasn't sure I'd like it, but for work and date night, when I like a little more coverage, it's great. I think I'll prefer one of the lighter versions better for the weekend.
I agree with the other reviewers regarding the color - it's very light. I'm usually the second lightest shade in face makeup, and these match my skin tone beautifully.
This was just enough of each one for me to test and try for a week or so and then make a final decision on which one to buy full size. Love the coverage of all, not greasy and didn't have to use my powder!5
