One of the true leaders of the BB craze, Dr. Jart+ came blazing on the scene stateside a few years ago and has since been acquiring cult status. Arm yourself with this set of beautifying creams, which provide light coverage while nourishing and soothing skin with a host of good-for-you ingredients (think: antioxidant green tea, chamomile, and argan oil).
I have only used the premium BB cream so far, but love it. Better than foundation, but leaves a heavy mess on my hands after applying.4
I consider myself pretty fair skinned but these are really for people with pale skin. I have to wear a powder over them to bring my skin back to a healthy looking tone. Other then that I'm really happy with the consistency and coverage of them! I would happily keep buying them if they get some tone options in. The other thing that's great about these small test pack ones is that they are awesome for traveling and packing light!4
By far the best BB set ever! Each one included has its own high points. The renewal red bottle is great for everyday use, it has the most matte finish of them all. The detox (black bottle) has amazing coverage with a bit of sheen. The gold and blue bottles were not as impressive. Both offered minimal coverage and left my skin VERY shiny. Overall, the initial color of each bottle was different but it adjusted easily to my fair skin tone. I was extremely impressed that it covered my red skin without washing me out as well. I suggest a loose powder over top to extend the life of it as it wears off easily. I would totally buy this again!5
Red-this one was the thickest for me thus making it my least favorite. Blue-this was the thinnest making it my favorite, the consistency of a moisturizer. Black/Gold-felt the same on my face in between the blue and red. They all looked the same and lasted the same on my face. They are all great, it is just personal preference. A great base and I add just a tad of powder.4
I LOVED that they put all of the Dr. Jarts into a sample package, because I didn't know how to chose otherwise. Got the original as a sample and it's actually still my favorite out of all of them (the others don't seem to offer as much coverage, especially the blue moisturizing one) but it was nice to be able to definitely decide.5
The size of the 4 bottles is amazing! This set will probably last me a year or more. I don't see much difference between the 4 types of BB cream, but they are all great. They last all day, and at the end of my work day it looks fresh and flawless like I just applied it. They go on smoothly as well. I highly recommend these BB creams to use as a base for your make up or you can wear them alone for a fresh faced look.5
I have tried many bob creams. This is by far the best bob cream. It blends into your skin nicely. It's smooth and looks great.5
Every one of these was too light for my complexion, didn't blend in very well. I was not impressed, there are better quality bob creams for way less money.2
I purchased this so that I could try a number of different products and find one I really love. The detox primer was the best for my skin - not too thick, nice yellow undertones for my skin. The others do great things for skin, but they might be a bit too thick for me and the color wasn't quite right. I may still use them on the weekends when I don't really care about color as much.5
I haven't tried all four samples yet, but I can review two so far. The first one I tried was Premium. I love how it felt on my skin, but the color was a bit to dark for my skin.
The next one I tried was the Water Fuse and I have been using that since. Provides wonderful hydration for my dehydrated skin and leaves a nice natural glowing finish on the skin. I have been using this tiny tube at least three days a week for the past 2 months and I'm still not finished with it! That's an amazing value. Excited to finish it to try the Black Label and Renewalist.
