I bought this lip plumper in "Milan", which I thought would be like a mauve-rose color but when applied, turns out to be much more of a pink hue. I like the peppermint and spearmint oils in it, as they add a little tingle after you apply it. I felt that my lips were soft and conditioned after using this.
Perfect amount of color and shine
I've been using the LA shade for YEARS. I absolutely love this product and it's actually one of the only lip products that I've used up completely more than once! The color is such a nice pinky-nude with just the right amount of gold shimmer.
Please note that this does contain some essential oils that could be drying and irritating. I am not sensitive to these, but many are. If your lips are very chapped or you are sensitive to these essential oils, look elsewhere. I do use a moisturizing lip balm under this product.
It does make my lips tingle a bit, but I think it's a refreshing feeling rather than an irritating one.
Love love love!!
I love this lipstick I had originally gotten the other lipstick by Jane Iredell but they were all out of stock so I took a chance on this and was so happy!!
It applies smooth and the shade "Tokyo" is a great color, not to mention the plumping effects are great, it stays on all day and is very hydrating, not matte at all but I'm not upset about it, this is my new go to lipstick and I love it. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a lip plumper.
One word: Futile.
The color and shine are just as pictured, but (and this is a big BUT)...IT DOES NOT PLUMP. Don't let the product name "Just Kissed Lip Plumper" fool you. This product does not plump...at all. It burns a little, as expected for any lip plumping product, and then I wait...and wait....and wait some more...but nothing happens.
One last time: great color, but does not do what it is supposed to. So ask yourself before purchasing, why invest in a lip plumper that doesn't work?
They plump and they stay put!
I'm thrilled that Birchbox has discovered Jane Iredale! I started using the just kissed lip plumper lipsticks a couple of years ago and I'm a hug fan. They are not super pigmented, but they wear more like a sheer stain. It's a gorgeous natural look and perfect paired with a heavier eye.
