I should have been tipped off by the mixed reviews, but decided to give it a try. Unless my waterline was red, I couldn't even tell the product was on. Doesn't last long either- I would have to constantly reapply. Once I bought another, creamier liner (tarte) I realized how disappointing this product is. Unless you have a drier waterline and are in desperate need of a color corrector, I wouldn't recommend.
The color of this pencil was exactly what I was looking for, but the texture of the pencil was so hard that I had a hard time getting the color to deposit on to my skin.
This little pencil has been a game changer for my tired eyes during my early mornings at work. It's not WHITE like some eye liners that you could use, its much more toned down. A light skin color basically. Honestly if you didn't tell someone you had it on they wouldn't know. But when you apply it to just one eye and then look in the mirror you can definitely see a difference! I like that it's subtle because I don't wear makeup on a day to day basis, but this gives me the more awake look my eyes need at 5am! I love this product and will absolutely reorder when I am out.
It's a little tough to get on at first but it looks wonderful, makes my eyes look big and as if I had a good nights rest. It's also great for the corner of your eye to had a little brightening
I expected so much more from Jouer's Essential Eye Clarifier pencil. It was hard for me to actually get the pencil's hue to stick to my inner eye. (Other pencil's take one swipe, then done.) The effect didn't last long either. The color however is perfect! When it is on (at it's peak), it made my eye pop while looking very natural. It isn't obvious that one is wearing a liner. It made my eye's look absolutely stunning and made my baby blues pop. If you don't mind using a little "elbow greese" and don't mind the constant reapplying, then go for it because it does make you have the extra "pop" or "glisten" in your eye.
