Polish trends change more quickly than we can book our next manicure—one minute it’s all about crazy nail art, and the next it’s back to strictly neutral shades. But no matter which look we’re currently sporting, we can rely on this collection of allergen-free, non-toxic polishes. Karma Organic Spa’s formula omits the Big Three chemicals (toluene, formaldehyde, and DBP) found in many standard lacquers, which means it’s safe for pregnant ladies and small children. We also love how it doesn’t chip easily or turn our nails yellow.
How it Works
Housed in a recyclable glass container, this cruelty-free polish is free of toxic chemicals and strong odors. Choose from a spectrum of shades: Two Dozen Roses, classic red; Bride to Be, a nude beige; Curtain Call, a dramatic auburn; Bowery After Dark, a deep purple, Central Park West, a subdued green, Metallic Forest, an iridescent green; and Skimpy Bikini, a bright pink.
How to Use
Apply a clear base coat, and wait for it to dry completely. Next, add two coats of polish. Finish with a top coat for longer wear.
