I would definitely have invested 5 stars, if not for the difficulty of positioning the mask on my face. The lesson is--be prepared from the start. Pick a a quiet few minutes when you won't be disturbed. Once the mask is on, however, it is heavenly, very refreshing and cool. It was a very pleasant experience, but the real job is to moisturize and that was amazing. I really felt that my skin absorbed the product well. My skin was soft with the fine lines visibly lessened. I think it is an excellent product!
Beautiful bright skin
This is the first time I have used a cotton mask or a hydrating mask and after two treatments I am really loving the results. I have combination skin, prone to breaking out in the chin area. After using the mask I was amazed at how bright and even my skin looked and my face felt amazing. The skin is very smooth. It hasn't caused me to breakout, my skin actually looks clearer. I would really recommend this mask!
Save Your Money...
I have used the Karuna masks for a while & love them....The Luxe however ARE NOT WORTH THE PRICE. They are drier and are made of a stiff blue paper which refuses to stay put around mouth & chin.. Awful..hopefully returning
This mask felt so nice and cool, and really left my skin glowing. I loved the scent, and the fact that I didn't have to wash my face afterwards. You're supposed to rub in the excess for added benefit! I loved this!!
I have really enjoyed the regular line of masks from Karuna so I thought I'd splurge and try the Luxe. if the regular masks are a treat, these are just decadent! But lovely. The cotton practically disappears into the skin and I could feel my skin drinking in all the moisturizing goodness. I could also see persistent results afterward, like for the next day or two, which is rarely the case for me outside of a particular brand of facial at the spa. Overall, think this is a great product and will probably purchase again. One word of warning for anyone used to the other Karuna masks: these actually have two separate backings and therefore the application is a little different. It's worth reading the instructions so you don't do what I did the first time and misapply, remove the backing in the wrong order, and practically trash a $12 mask instead of getting to use it.
