Birchbox Breakdown

The coconut is one of nature’s most powerful multitaskers, and we love it in both our piña coladas and our beauty routine. Uniquely formulated to intensify the hydrating benefits of coconut oil, this lightweight, ultra-moisturizing serum absorbs easily into skin and hair. It also has antiaging properties that improve skin elasticity, boost firmness, and reduce inflammation caused by UV rays. Just like pure coconut oil, it’s a face moisturizing, makeup-removing, split-end-mending lifesaver. Plus, it’s formulated without silicones, sulfates, parabens, or GMOs.

How to Use

Massage a few drops into hands and smooth onto face, neck, nails, and hair. This bottle is happiest when kept at room temp and away from heat and light. Coconut Sheer Oil may solidify below 50°F, but don’t worry, change in consistency won’t hurt the quality. Just warm it up and use normally.

Cocos Nucifera (ORGANIC Coconut) Oil, Shea Butter Ethyl Esters, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Extract, Tocopherol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Extract, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Coffea Arabica (Coffee) Extract, Butter Extract, Santalum Album (Sandalwood/Iliahi) Wood Extract, Musa Sapientum (Banana) Fruit Extract, Vaccinium Macrocapon (Cranberry) Fruit Extract, Cucumis Melo (Melon) Fruit Extract, Vanilla Planifolia (Vanilla Bean) Fruit Extract, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Fruit Extract

really good

i'm not a fan of face oils because my skin is very greasy, but since winter is here i decided to give it a try to help some dry patches that appeared on my forehead. I am now a believer and can say that this really works and didn't make my skin greasy at all. Will definitely buy the full size once my sample runs out.

Coconut oil solidifies naturally.... why is this in a dropper?!

So I would love to appreciate this product as it smells lovely, but the folks who made this clearly know zero about coconut oil or they never would have put this into a dropper. Coconut oil solidifies naturally in cooler temps (aka before olive oil and most other oils would solidify). My sample arrived but it is SOLID. Will have to save for summer so it can be used as directed. Ok product with poor engineering.

Wasn’t a big fan of the smell, but it did make my skin soft. However, I won’t be purchasing a bigger size because I don’t really like the smell of it.

Am I missing something?

I don't really understand the hype around this product. To me, it was OK, but only if you've never heard of coconut oil, to begin with.

I use extra virgin coconut oil from time to time when my skin is really dry, and a comparison of the two doesn't reveal a whole lot of difference, except in price.
