It’s our policy that anything can be enhanced with a modest infusion of booze (prime examples: chocolate cake with whiskey, beer can chicken). But that’s not the only reason this sake-steeped shaving cream—that has garnered awards from both GQ and Esquire—is a welcome addition to our grooming arsenal. The sake is just one of a slew of special ingredients that combine to provide extra lubrication and smooth razor glide. The formula also features volcanic ash and adzuki beans indigenous to the Japanese town of Yuzuri Hara, where inhabitants are known for both their longevity and enviably youthful complexions.
How it Works
This shave cream protects your face during your shave while simultaneously soothing it. An anti-inflammatory complex actually works to change in the skin's response to redness and irritation over the long term. Sake, made from fermented rice, softens and moisturizes skin, while silicone micro particles coat skin to make the shave extra smooth.
How to Use
Apply to wet skin like normal shaving cream. Allow the lather to sit on your face for about two minutes, then shave as you would normally.
