I've been wearing liquid liner for over 20 years, mainly drugstore brands, really inky black. I bought these Laura Geller's on a whim and they are, simply, amazing. The liquid goes on a little dry, which gives it much more of a painterly feel. I'm used to crazy wetbrush liners, so these liners felt more reserved, cleaner, more elegant if that makes sense. Almost like using a VERY soft, precise pencil, but an artist's pencil, not an eyeliner pencil. The liner comes out well black enough for me (and again I'm used to crazy shiny deep sumi-e black). I don't know, maybe I'm finally growing up.
I find that the ink stays on beautifully, in fact I've been really busy lately so I've worn them for two days at a time (eep!) and they haven't faded at all. It's also really easy to correct mistakes with these, just wipe n' go (unlike the drugstores', where you need a cleaning arsenal on standby). I feel like a whole lot of eyeliner stress has been lifted off my shoulders because of these three beauties. I'll definitely buy them again.
