I really wanted to like this set! I love getting girly things every month in my subscription box, but I was extra excited about the idea of a curated box of home products. When I saw the salad hands and Rifle Paper place cards, I ordered the box on the spot.
The Fall Fete box itself was adorable, and everything was packaged really nicely. I really love the Rifle Paper placecards, the little Rose syrups, and the salad hands, of course. As mentioned in other reviews, the govino decanter is very small, and very plastic. The thumb-sized imprint is a great design feature of the decanter, but I think the term “shatterproof” connotes that it is remarkable that the item doesn’t shatter—which it kind of isn't, because it's plastic. I haven’t seen other plastic products described as shatter-proof, so it just seems a little silly to apply that to the go anywhere line.
The pinch pots are nicely made and cute, ditto for the confetti, but for me, I could take them or leave them. The room spray, like others have said, has a strong potpourri smell more than a true apple and cinnamon spice. The spray bottle design is perfect for fall, though, and fun to use. The coasters were the least useful items in the kit; they have a corrugated paper construction and didn't seem at all waterproof or durable.
To really like only 3 of the items in the box, I’m thinking that it isn’t the best value for me, personally. That shouldn’t stop anyone else from checking it out for themselves, though! If I received this as a gift, rather than buying it myself, I’m sure I could justify keeping it.
