I think the ensemble picked for this box was spot on. Everything went very well together and made a nice complete package. It would be great as a gift box.
Davines Sea Salt Spray - love this spray. Perks up my naturally curly hair in the morning and I can still run my fingers through my hair later in the day. Doesn't make my hair frizz.
Cali Throwback Palette - love the colors. very soft and natural looking with a bit of "pop". The magnetic "wallet" is pretty ingenious. I just wish the lipstick lasted longer.
No Frizz Humidity Sheild - though I live in Michigan and it hasn't been exactly humid, I like using this spray as a kind of anti-frizz light hairspray. Sometimes I just use it for the smell, which is light, fresh and amazing. Even my son likes using it.
Supergoop sunscreen - love this product. I have mature skin and need a serious moisturizer. I find sunscreens work great except they make my pores enlarge and my face shiny. I don't have that problem with Supergoop. In fact, I mix it with a kind of dry and heavy foundation that I have for the perfect DIY BB cream.
Milk Blush Oil - this is a very unique and fun product. I love the roller ball. No wasting of product. The blush goes on light, sheer and soft. I'm all about that since I have a bit of rosacea. I even use it on my brow bone which kinda brightens my eyes for a no-makeup look. It doesn't work very well as a lipstick, though.
Kopari Coconut Body Glow - this was very interesting. My first. The coconut smell is awesome! I'd love to have a body spray or perfume that smelled like that. I like the luxurious feel of the oil and the sparkle is just suttle enough that you don't look over the top. However, I'm ruddy, fair, freckled and 55 so I have to wear it with care. I love it on my chest and as a highlighter just above my cheekbones.
The sunglasses I was a little disappointed in. They were bigger than I really like and they are very, very cheaply made. However, I do like the clear frame and they are fun to wear when you're having that "feeling like a kid again" moment.
The turkish towel was a first for me. I always thought they were prized for being soft and absorbent. This one reminded me of a giant handy wipe, even after I washed it. However, it does make for a nice towel to sit on and it looked real nice laid over my picnic suitcase like a table cloth with flowers and candles. I wouldn't wear it as a scarf though. Too rough.
All in all I'm having fun with the products in the box (which, btw, came in a real nice big box) and intend to purchase some of the products in the future, like the other colors in the Milk Blush Oil. Don't think I would have been happy with paying the asking price for the box. I used my points for a big discount which made the purchase price a little more reasonable.
