Birchbox Breakdown

British beauty pioneer Liz Earle has a mantra: cleanse, tone, and moisturize, twice a day, every day. And thanks to Liz, those are words we can definitely live by. With its sublime floral scent (think fresh cut roses) and calming botanicals like chamomile, cucumber, and aloe, this alcohol-free toner soothes and hydrates even the most troubled complexions. In lieu of harsh disinfectants, hops extract tones the skin and swipes away bacteria.

How to Use

Squeeze a small amount onto a cotton ball, then gently sweep over clean face and neck. Use this floral-scented toner on your face and décolletage throughout the day whenever you need a pick-me-up.

Aqua (water), Aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice, Glycerin, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, Cucumis sativus (cucumber) fruit extract, Calendula officinalis (calendula) flower extract, Anthemis nobilis (chamomile) extract, Humulus lupulus (hops) extract, Panthenol, Allantoin, Tocopherol (vitamin E), Tocopheryl acetate, Parfum (fragrance), Citronellol, Coumarin, Geraniol, Linalool, Sodium hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Benzoic acid, Dehydroacetic acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Polyaminopropyl biguanide

Love this

The entire Liz Earle line has some of my most favorite skin care products. I have sensitive skin and this toner is soothing and not at all abrasive. I have used it for awhile now (over a year?) and am almost out so it's time to order some more!

Very calming

This is a great toner if your skin tends to be or feel irritated after exfoliating or certain washes or treatments. It's super calming on the skin. I don't have what I'd call sensitive skin, but I go straight to this anytime I feel something I may have tried feels off.

It's not drying at all, but if your skin isn't completely clean, you will feel this afterwards -it'll sit on top of the grime.

Love this

I received this as part of a kit. This is a great product to use after cleansing the skin. I applied this with cotton balls all over my face and décolleté. It made my combination skin feel hydrated and not oily.

I am obsessed

I love this product. Its like a spa for my face. I need something that is light and doesn't irritate my super sensitive skin. This is amazing, it makes me feel refreshed and bright every time I use it, even multiple times a day. It's basically a mini facial. I couldn't be happier and am already ordering another one (since I live in two different places right now and need this little treat for my face near me at all times)

Liz Earle Tonic

I love Liz Earle's skincare line. I used their cleanser for a long time. I got this toner as a sample in a birchbox and it's nice but for me didn't do anything for my skin one way or another. It didn't moisturize, but it wasn't drying. It didn't tone, but it didn't cause redness either.
