I have been searching and searching for a shampoo and conditioner that does not contain sulfates and parabens but will still make my hair soft and shiny. I received a sample of the Macadamia Oil treatment in one of my boxes and really liked that, so I decided to try the shampoo and moisturizer. Hello, fabulous hair! The shampoo lathers up much better than most sulfate-free shampoos which is a plus with my hard water. The smell is really pleasant and the best part is that my hair is finally soft again. I have no problem combing through it when it is wet and when it is dry, it is soft to touch and less frizzy. I'm sold. Even though it is pricey, this is my new shampoo.
Make sure to use enough water to make it really massage into hair. My hair is thin, dry, and frizzy. This product helps better than any other I've tried.
This is my all time favorite shampoo! I have curly hair that is always dry, and I feel like I have tried everything. I have used a number of higher end shampoos, but this beats all of them! It gets my hair clean without drying it out, and leaves my hair really soft and shiny.
The smell and texture is great. It leaves my hair feeling wonderful, which isn't always the case with thick curly hair.
Saved my hair!
This, no joke, along with the corresponding conditioner, revived my hair! I had been using the same drugstore shampoo/conditioner combo for the last ~3 years and it was recently discontinued. I have thinning, not straight/kinda wavy hair than can frizz up in humidity. After trying the drugstore brand's equivalent replacement, and a much pricier salon brand that just seemed to dry my hair out even more (though they claimed to be hydrating/repairing) I decided to give this a whirl...and let me tell you--I am NOT disappointed. The shampoo leaves my hair a little on the squeaky-clean side, but along with the corresponding conditioner, my hair is so silky soft (even after the first use) and not even just in the shower, but after I've blown it dry, too (which was the real issue with those other brands)! Yes, it is pricey, but I'd buy this forever if I could!
One drawback is the smell. It doesn't smell bad at all, more plant-y (if that makes sense), but compaired to this brand's hair mask which smells like candy, I was a tiny bit disappointed that the scents weren't uniform.
