I was happy to have a small nail file I could throw in my go to bag. However after just a few uses, there was no file left to use. I don't have hard or fake nails, either. glad this was a freebe.
great for work/desk
I've had it happen too many times, a nail breaks in the middle of the work day and I can't do anything but focus on the scraggly nail FOR THE REST OF THE DAY.
Now with this file, discreet enough to pop in my drawer and grab it, fix my mini-disaster and resume my day.
I'm very glad I made the purchase.
This nail file did not do it's job! It seemed flimsy on the edges and was worn out after just a few uses.
Couldn't even file one nail
This is the only product from birch box that I have gotten that ended up directly in the trash. The board fell apart on contact.
Totally fell apart
This emery board fell apart as soon as I tried to use it. The files were very poorly glued on, and both of them started peeling off at the ends immediately. And the whole thing bends in half any time I grip it the wrong way. Really disappointing.
I threw this away after a few nails. The pink rubbed off immediately and was useless. surprised it made the BirchBox cut to be quite honest.
This thing is so cute, and I love having it in my bag. That being said... when it runs out I won't purchase, because shoot it doesn't do anything that a regular file can't do besides look cute. Still, fun while it lasts!
Love this product.
This is just a great product and a great deal. I wore out my sample after a year and was happy to find it on the Birchbox website. Will be buying it!!
Fell apart quickly. The emory surfaces are just thin, cheap layers of paper attached to the board. I can't imagine paying $5 for this.
your basic emery board
I don't think this board functions any better than most salon style emery boards. It is rather pretty, and it has a slim case, making it easier to carry in a purse, but it's pretty average.
