Birchbox Breakdown

This little pink triangle is changing the eyeliner game for good, letting us take control so we can master everything from a subtle liner look to a dramatic cat-eye. Designed with both a straight and curved edge, we can easily guide pencil and liquid liner and keep the eye area clean while applying mascara. The included 5x magnifying mirror with a suction cup also helps us get up close for ultraprecise results.

How to Use

Warm the silicone triangle between your hands for 10-15 seconds, and then place the pointed corner on the outside edge of your eye when applying eyeliner. For a serious cat-eye, use the long side of the tool, or for something subtler, use the shorter, curved side. Then, use it as a shield when applying mascara.

Brilliant, but...

Use a guitar pick, it works just as well, and you or someone you know already has one. No, they don't typically stick to your face, but, if I can hang onto it and stretch my eyelid with one hand, so can you. And I'm tragically uncoordinated. Seriously, seeing the picture of this thing for the first time- I said, darn, I could get the same effect with one of my guitar picks. And on the first try, yup- got it! You can too. I'm sure they will sell millions of these, but save your $18 & find a pal with a pick. You're welcome. ;)

Don't waste your money!

A guitar pic would work just as well. Which by the way, is not at all. It's just one more thing to hold. Absolutely not effective!

So not worth it
Purchased

Save yourself $16 and buy a 50¢ guitar pick. That won't work either, but at least you'll save $15.50

Terrible does not work
Purchased

I bought one of these for myself and my mom from birch box. The product is a good idea but just doesn't work at all. For one I won't stick to your skin for anything. At all. No amount of rubbing it in your hands makes it stick. 2nd, it's impossible to position it at exactly the same angle on both eyes so you have even more uneven eye liner than if you had just free handed it. Don't waste 16$ it's not with it. Just keep practicing by hand. My mom will use it to keep mascara and eye shadow off her face but considering it won't stick it's just one more thing to hold.

Nice Idea

It is a great idea but hard to hold onto and it didn't make my eyeliner even. It actually made it alot worse than if I would have just done it myself.
