I was immediately put off by the smell, which was about 20% cod liver oil, 20% mentholatum and 60% general medicinal. The texture was nice, but there was way too much for a single use. There was a refreshing tingle, a little too refreshing, painfully refreshing, as my both my nose and eyes started watering profusely. I rinsed it off immediately and my skin looked slightly sunburned. The watery eyes and red skin faded within a couple hours, but my skin felt dry and tight the rest of the day. This is similar to the way I react to products containing mushrooms, to which I'm allergic, but I saw no mention of mushrooms in the ingredients list.
This product was very thick. I could feel dirt and toxic radicals being pull from my pores. .it was a spa day in my home.
I put it on my face but felt a ton of tingling...my skin is very sensitive but I only left it on a short amount of time because i was nervous it would cause a reaction....but everything went well...and I love the smell...
Worked nice; unpleasant scent
The mask felt nice on my face- I think it looked brighter after I wore the mask. However, the scent is quite sharp and noticeable. If you're sensitive to scents, be very aware. It didn't quite smell like peppermint, it was just... Something strong. Mask effectiveness was okay, but nothing stellar.
This stuff is so relaxing. If I've had a stressful week/day, this has been great to put on and just breath!
