Really impressed with the coverage this ultra fine mist provides. A couple of quick sprays on my part did wonders and looked natural. It's a bit messy to use on your hairline as it can get on your face, but I may spray on a make-up brush and apply around my face that way. Great for all over, close to scalp, natural looking coverage! (I have the dark brown).
Works well, but only one use... Too bad.
I have tried many products when my grey hair grows back in and I don't have time and/or feel like colouring my dark hair. This worked really well to cover the grey and smelled soooo divine but for the price I really expect to get more than one use. So if you need something to cover you inbetween colourings this does fit the bill but don't expect to get much use.
Up until this time I used the Batiste Dark Brown Dry Shampoo to cover up grays in between coloring my dark brown hair. I am a HUGE Oribe fan, as their products work great and smell AMAZING. This product is no exception, and I can't imagine a better touch up product. It is worth the price!
I am obsessed with the smell of this hairspray. It works perfectly on my fine hair and I will definitely purchase again. Glad I had BB points to use towards it, as it is a bit pricey. LOVE IT!
If you have blonde hair, think twice before buying.
I think what I'm about to say is true for all hair color touch-up products on the market: if you have lighter-colored hair you're not going to get an exact match and if you get something close, consider yourself fortunate. With this one I REALLY got it wrong!
When I go to the drugstore's hair color aisle I see similar products, but there are rarely any blonde colors; they are all shades of brown. I think I know why now. Blonde shades must be awfully difficult to match in these temporary color products.
I was so excited when I saw this in a blonde shade and because Oribe is - in my mind anyway - a higher end brand, I really expected it would blend with my lighter golden blonde. Perhaps if I could have used less it might have worked OK, but I had to use a lot of it to get the coverage I needed...and that resulted in a mustard-y yellow. To be fair, I've tried other touch-up products in blonde shades when I could find them, and the result is similar. So, my conclusion is that blonde shades are very hard to create accurately...unless you're looking at a more permanent color formula.
I don't recommend this product for light-colored hair, but perhaps brunettes will have more luck with the darker shades.
