This product was recommended by a few staff at Sephora. I was in search of 2 products. One to banish the melasma that stuck around after my 2 most recent pregnancies and one to help tighten up my "turkey neck" after weight loss. I was pleasantly surprised when Philosophy's Miracle Retanoid Pads were suggested for both. I am thrilled to announce that my melasma is 80% improved and my "turkey neck" is not as prominent as it was. I am thrilled with the results! Definitely worth the $75.
I am a devoted follower of Philosophy skin care. My very sensitive skin reacts negatively to most products, so when I find something that works, I stick with it. I first tried these retinoids pads in December, and have just purchased a second jar. My skin texture is fantastic and my skin looks brighter. I did have a very small amount of flaking for the first week or so, but I think it was just the product removing old skin cells. I have not had anything like it since.
I got these as a sample from another retailer but LOVVVE Philosophy products and use several from the Hope is Not Enough line as well as an eye cream from this line. I used as directed and immediately felt my skin burning! The burning feeling lasted about an hour and afterwards my face felt extremely dry, even though I had moisturized as directed after applying these pads.
I may try them again----I got 15 in my sample pack. The only reason I would give them a try again is bc every other Philosophy product I have ever tried has been fabulous and works great! However, my skin might just be too sensitive for this one.
With all the other great products Philosophy has, I definitely would not pay $75 for this!
These feel somewhat greasy but needs no residual. I feel like the dark spots are fading a bit.
Not for me
I have been using it for ten days now. The only changes I've noticed to my skin is it's dry and I broke out really bad. I have oily skin and it's normally not sensitive to skin products. I was really hoping this would work for me, but it's just making my skin worse.
