I love experimenting with body lotions because I use them daily. I look for the following when rating a body lotion:
* a minimal requirement to slather (as in, a little bit will go a long way)
* smooth, non-greasy finish
* maintaining hydration and keeping skin soft throughout the day
* pleasant, not overpowering scent.
If you have a preference for subtler scents, you will be pleased with this lotion. The orange notes are light and understated, but quite nice. It prefer something a little bolder myself, but it will certainly be a plus for those who prefer understated scents.
As for the feel of the lotion - It felt as though it "sat" on my skin rather than being absorbed into it. It didn't have a greasy finish, but because it didn't quite absorb, it left my skin feeling "covered" rather than "hydrated."
I probably would not purchase Red Flower Body Lotion again because there are other body lotions I like better. That isn't to say this was a bad product, but it just didn't have what it takes to earn my loyalty.
