I had heard about this product for quite some time but I was concerned about a few things... First the coconut oil base - would it make my skin break out? Nope! Second, is the shimmer really different? Yes - the shimmer is very subtle and more ethereal rather than glittery. And third, I have oily skin - will this make me look greasy? No, if you apply very sparingly. And I will also add that I apply this over powder so that the rest of my skin has a matte finish.
If you are expecting a dramatic highlight, this product might not be for you... However if you are looking for a subtle glow, add this to your cart STAT!
This has a nice shimmer, but it doesn't really soak in. I use it right under my eye lids where I won't smudge it accidentally.
rms beauty™ Living Luminizer
I cannot believe I paid $38 for this. It's totally fine, don't get me wrong, but I just don't think it's worth the price. It's really small for the price, too. I was really surprised at how small the pot was when it arrived.
I'm not sure why this stuff is so expensive, but I was persuaded to purchase due to good reviews. The product seems small, but I have had for nearly a year and it's still going. The highlighting is so subtle I sometimes layer it in triplicate just to see something. Blends well, with absolutely no scent though, so that is nice.
I am somewhat of a minimalist for my daily makeup routine. This luminizer is subtle, not all shimmery and sparkly like some. I look instantly refreshed when I dab it on my eyelids and brow bones. The sample is huge.
