I have been using this moisturizer on my face every single day for almost a year. I have a very unfortunate "photoallergy" to most chemical sunscreen ingredients. Which means I can put them on my skin, but once my skin is exposed to UV light, they give me a rash. The only thing that seems to be ok for SPF on me is Zinc. It is VERY hard to find a zinc-only based facial sunscreen that is not made with nano zinc but also rubs in enough so the inevitable white cast is barely noticeable. I have tried so many zinc face formulations that were too white, too chalky, or gave me breakouts, and this seems to be the best out there that I have found so far. I am lucky to have pretty normal skin. I eat well, and take care of my skin, so no problems with oily or dry patches. Yes, this is a very thick formulation, but it still spreads fairly easily and I am able to rub it in so that there is barely a white tint to my skin which seems to fade after a few minutes. While it is thick, I would not describe it as greasy, it just has a heavier feel. The texture is not wonderful, but I can deal with the thickness. I use a BHA serum and a separate moisturizer to create a barrier (as instructed by my aesthetician) before using this as my SPF, followed by a tinted mineral foundation to finish and even out my color. This would be the perfect product for me if it contained greater amounts of antioxidants and most importantly, did NOT contain citrus oils, which are mildly irritating to my skin.
